Meet my turle:
His name is Screech. He used to have a mate named Lisa. Yes, they were named after Lisa and Screech from the TV show "Saved By The Bell." Oh, how I loved that show...haha. Unfortunately his mate died much earlier. I received Screech and Lisa as a Christmas gift my sophomore (or junior...?) year of high school from my friend Emily. That's almost seven or eight years ago. Wowza. I feel really bad for Screech. 1. He's all by his lonesome and 2. I feel really bad for keeping him captive in a small tank. I can't even keep him company because I'm not even home most of the time. My dad has taken responsibility for him and he's grown quite attached. Plus I know if I released him in the wild he probably wouldn't survive because he's been domesticated. I considered donating Screech to the after-school program I work at so the kids can have a class pet, but my dad says he'll miss Screech. So there he stays in his tank in my room in my parents' house.
