I swear B&N should just hire me already. I'm there browsing a lot of the time, I might as well be getting paid for it. More cool useless crap from Barnes & Noble.
Although this piece does disturb me a little. From the tag you can see that it is recycled magazine strips beautifully woven by "skilled artisan weavers" in the Philippines into a pencil holder. What that translates to is that it can probably be made for less than 50 cents, but they're exploiting my people and charging almost $10. Sweet.

yup. i read the tag before ur blurb. and thats exactly wut i thought. i thought it was made for like 10cents and is being sold as 'art.' wut about them livelihoods?
